Will this program be in compliance with the eld mandate?

I'm sorry this version of Logbook will not comply with the ELD rule changes. Part of the rule change requires that the device be tied into the trucks systems. We are working on a version of Logbook that will have a device with it to tie into the truck system that will comply with the ELD mandate.

Is it possible to allow for connections for the future software version? There are wireless bluetooth transmitters that hook onto the diagnostic port of the vehicle. These bluetooth transmitters could be connected to our logbook devices. There are several of these devices out on the market today, eliminating the need for additional cabling. They can transmit to a cell phone, tablet, or PC or other device. Will you be looking at meeting compliance with this option?
