Logbook currently requires a full version of Windows to run. Logbook is Windows 8/7/XP supported. However if you get a tablet with Windows 8 RT, Logbook will not work because that is a stripped down version of the OS. We are working on a software for the Android and IOS which will be releasing later this year.
