Ok uninstall Logbook, then reinstall.

I'm sorry I misstated, it should nacre read when I tried to install the latest update. I cannot get the program to install without this error popping up and canceling the install.

Ok, in the bottom right of Logbook make sure the GPS satellite dish icon is X out. If it is not just click the big X next to the "Searching for GPS device..." Let me know if that works.

after installing windows 10 and installing the latest update I get this error "Could not access network location\GPS gate. I cannot be remote accessed for some reason so I need to have this resolved in a manner without remote access.
