Just know it will show a violation until it is able to realize what you are trying to do. The software prefers to do it automatically as long as you are selected to audit for Canada, you can pick what jurisdiction you are auditing for in the bottom left of the software. Have the log form which allows you to choose which day you wish to defer will not make a difference. If you do your deferral on day one it will show you in violation until you complete day 2 because the software doesn't know if you are doing a deferral until it is actually complete.
